Mark Pearson was born in London and gained a First Class Diploma at the City & Guilds College, London in 1978 and took a three year post-graduate painting course at the Royal Academy Schools.  Mark was a star student at every stage, winning college and National prizes.  Mark also won travelling scholarships to Barcelona and Madrid.  The Royal Academy also awarded Mark a grant to study in New York at the New York Schools of Art, where he exhibited in a number of mixed shows. Post graduation in 1981 Mark has painted  full-time selling his work to a growing number of patrons and collectors.  Mark has participated in group exhibitions, most notably at the Royal Academy, and has had a many solo shows in London at the Cooling Gallery, Cork Street Gallery, Liberty Fine Art, Barkes and Barkes, Dryden Street Gallery, The National  Theatre, The Cobden Club, Hollywood Road Gallery and elsewhere.
